Titus Dittmann is lots of things: skateboard pioneer, businessman, tournament founder, racing driver, former teacher, youth lobbyist, keynote speaker, university lecturer, media darling and above all: social entrepreneur and instigator. Credibility is his greatest asset. Over the last 40 years, the now 70- year-old has dominated the skateboard scene in Germany and Europe. He recognized early on that skateboarding is more than a sporting fad or leisure activity. The board with four wheels was “a lifestyle and means of expression inaccessible to adults”. The 24-hour race in May 2018 ended for the Skate Aid green viper with a spectacular crash – luckily Titus emerged without serious injury and is not slowing down in 2019 either.
She has now been a fixture as a presenter on the national and international stage for some 15 years.
